YSR Congress party president and former Andhra Pradesh chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy is gearing up for a series of agitations against the ruling Telugu Desam Party (TDP)-Jana Sena-BJP alliance led by chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu and deputy CM Pawan Kalyan.
As part of these efforts, Jagan has recently activated the youth wing of the YSR Congress Party. He held meetings with youth wing members and gave them strategic directions to counter the ruling coalition.
He asked them to expose the failures of the coalition government at the grassroots level. He also urged them to respond actively to the alleged series of attacks taking place under the current regime.
To strengthen the youth wing further, Jagan has appointed five new working presidents.
The YSRCP central office released an official statement announcing their appointment and assigning them district-wise responsibilities.
The newly appointed working presidents and their assigned districts are:
Annamreddy Adeep Raju – Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Parvathipuram Manyam, Alluri Sitarama Raju, Visakhapatnam, Anakapalli
Karumuri Sunil Kumar – Kakinada, Konaseema, East Godavari, West Godavari, Eluru
Perni Kittu – Krishna, NTR, Guntur, Palnadu, Bapatla
Bhumana Abhinay Reddy – Prakasam, Nellore, Annamayya, Chittoor, Tirupati
Byreddy Siddharth Reddy – YSR Kadapa, Kurnool, Nandyal, Anantapur, Sri Sathya Sai
These working presidents will be responsible for overseeing party activities in coordination with the respective district presidents.
Former MLA from Rajanagaram, Jakkampudi Raja, continues to serve as the state president of the YSRCP youth wing.
