Jagan Moves HC On Visakha Attack Case

Chief Minister Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has filed a petition in the AP High Court seeking a thorough investigation into the attack on him at Visakhapatnam airport.

After his petition was dismissed by the NIA court, Jagan Mohan Reddy approached the high court, requesting directions to the NIA court.

Jagan Mohan Reddy alleged that the accused, Srinivasa Rao, had a criminal record, which the NIA did not take into consideration.

He also claimed that Srinivasa Rao was allowed to work in the Visakhapatnam airport canteen without proper verification of his credentials.

He suspected a conspiracy in the case and demanded a more in-depth investigation to uncover the truth about the incident.

However, the NIA court dismissed the petition on July 25 this year, stating that no further investigation was required.

The case was transferred from Vijayawada to the Visakhapatnam NIA court, and Jagan Mohan Reddy believes there is a deeper conspiracy at play.

The case is expected to be heard in the high court on Friday.
