YSRC party president and Andhra Pradesh CM Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy is far better than his Telangana counterpart and TRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao in many ways.
This was the opinion expressed by Telangana Congress leader and Bhongir MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy.
“Jagan might be a junior in politics and inexperienced in administration than KCR. But in terms of gaining the confidence of the people, Jagan is 100 steps ahead of the Telangana chief minister,” Komatireddy said, addressing the gathering on the occasion of YSR birth anniversary.
He said he was not making these comments just for the sake of criticism of KCR, but based on the ground realities.
“Whether it is in the implementation of welfare schemes or in the steps being taken to control the Coronavirus pandemic, Jagan has been receiving tremendous appreciation from the people. He has got a very good name in a short time,” the MP said.
Recalling his association with late Y S Rajasekhar Reddy, Komatireddy said he had been a close friend of YSR for nearly 25 years.
“Even after becoming the chief minister of the state, YSR had given due to respect to all political leaders, irrespective of their party affiliations,” he said.
He said YSR had huge fan following in Telangana even now.
“I can’t say whether Jagan’s administration in Andhra is better than that of his father, but I can definitely say he is much better than KCR in terms of ruling the state,” the Telagnana Congress MP said.
