I-PAC team packs up from Vijayawada?

Within hours of the declaration of assembly and Lok Sabha election results in Andhra Pradesh showing the exit of YSR Congress party government led by Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, the members of Indian Political Action Committee (I-PAC) made a quiet exit from the Tadepalli camp office.

And within a couple of days of the announcement of the results, the I-PAC team is learnt to have packed up from its office near Benz Circle in Vijayawada.

Team head Rishi Raj Singh has stopped coming to the office and his team members, too, have been leaving the premises one after the other.

It is not immediately known whether Rishi had called on Jagan after the election debacle, but the party people say there was no review done by the I-PAC on the election results nor did Rishi submit any report to the outgoing chief minister on what went wrong with the strategy.

It appears a few I-PAC team members are still there in the office as was evident from the way they continue to share the tweets of Jagan and the YSRCP to some of the media persons in the group.

“But it is only a matter of time that the I-PAC will be wound up at least for now, though Jagan had told them during his thanks-giving visit to the I-PAC office soon after the polling on May 13 that the services of the I-PAC were invaluable and said the journey of YSRCP with IPAC will continue in future as well,” a YSRCP source said.

Now, it remains to be seen which political party would become a “bakra” in the hands of I-PAC in the coming days, as Rishi has already started looking for new clients!
