I-PAC disowns Prashant, albeit indirectly!

Within hours of political strategist Prashant Kishor landing in Vijayawada and going to the residence of Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu, there were speculations in a section of media that Indian Political Action Committee (I-PAC) has dumped the YSR Congress party led by chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy and joined hands with the TDP.

However, I-PAC was quick to issue a clarification to dispel any such rumours being spread on social media.

In a tweet, I-PAC said it has been working in collaboration with YSRC Party since last year.

“Together, we're dedicated to working tirelessly until CM Jagan secures a thumping victory again in 2024 and continues his unwavering efforts to better the lives of the people of Andhra Pradesh,” the I-PAC said.

The YSRC leaders, too, have started reacting strongly to the TDP hiring Prashant Kishor for the coming elections.

“It was the TDP which has alleged in the past that PK was the brain behind Kodi Kathi incident and murder of Vivekananda Reddy. Now, the same people took PK to their home,” criticized state industries and IT minister Gudivada Amarnath.
