A day after the video related to the murder case of former Jana Sena Party leader Vinutha Kota’s driver Rayudu going viral on social media, she hit the headlines again by releasing a video, virtually fixing Telugu Desam Party’s Srikalahasti MLA Bojjala Sudheer Reddy.
On Sunday, a selfie video recorded by Rayudu before his death has surfaced, alleging a conspiracy involving Sudheer Reddy to frame Vinutha Kota.
In the video, recorded as a final statement, Rayudu reportedly claimed that Bojjala's camp offered him Rs 50 lakh to give a statement against Vinutha Kota.
The alleged deal involved implicating Kota in a "private video" controversy, and Rayudu claimed that he was threatened to be killed by the conspirators if he refused to comply.
According to Rayudu, the motive behind the conspiracy was political, aimed at discrediting Vinutha Kota and damaging her reputation.
On Monday, Vinutha, who was recently released from jail on bail, put out a video message addressing Jana Sena Party chief and deputy chief minister Pawan Kalyan, raising serious concerns about internal political developments and appointments in her constituency.
In the video, Vinutha Kota expressed dissatisfaction over the recent developments and alleged conspiracies to sideline her politically.
“I urge Pawan Kalyan garu to reconsider his decisions regarding Srikalahasti politics. I have been wronged and deliberately pushed out,” she said.
She said she had no regret for going to jail for something she didn’t do, but she was deeply disturbed by false media reports claiming she had murdered her own driver.
“The court granted me bail within 19 days because it found no evidence of my involvement,” she claimed.
Vinutha said she left a lucrative job abroad earning lakhs per month to serve people through politics — not to harm anyone. She asserted confidence in proving her innocence in court and emerging with a clean chit.
“I have evidence that there was a conspiracy to damage my character and push me out of Srikalahasti politics. I will soon expose all of it before the media,” she declared.
Meanwhile, Bojjala said the video of Rayudu appeared to be doctored to defame him.
“I want a detailed inquiry by the police to find out whether it was a AI-generated video or whether the driver was forced to make the statement under death threat,” he said.
