Disgruntled Pilli looking towards Jana Sena?

Disgruntled Pilli looking towards Jana Sena?

Is former deputy chief minister of Andhra Pradesh and YSR Congress party’s Rajya Sabha member Pilli Subhash Chandra Bose blackmailing party president and chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy for the party ticket from Ramachandrapuram assembly constituency in Konaseema district?

It was evident from the statement of Bose on Sunday that he was ready to quit the party and his Rajya Sabha post, if state information minister Ch Srinivasa Venugopala Krishna is fielded from Ramachandrapuram constituency again.

He said he won’t hesitate to contest as an independent or field his son from the constituency. He said there is a serious disgruntlement in the party workers and cadre, who were not happy with the minister who indulged in browbeating.

“We are not his slaves. We have been with Jagan since the inception of YSR party. The chief minister said he would arrange a meeting between me and Venu, but I told him I don’t sit with a person who lacks character,” Bose said.

Apparently, Jagan pulled up Bose for making controversial statements in the constituency and unilaterally declaring his son as the party candidate in Ramachandrapuram.

“Who will decide the candidates? Is it the party or you?” Jagan asked the MP.

According to sources, Bose has already started sending feelers to Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan for joining the party. However, he may not join the party immediately, but would send his son into it first and then take the call.

“Bose has felt that there is a wave of sorts for Jana Sena Party in East and West Godavari districts, He has his own influence in Konaseema region. So, there is no surprise he takes a plunge into Jana Sena, sooner or later,” sources said.
