It is know that Chandragiri MLA Chevireddy Bhaskara Reddy has been the Chairman of TUDA (Tirupathi Urban Development Authority).
His name was freshly heard in the list of new Cabinet Ministers in the state of Andhra Pradesh.
As per the sources, it is true that he was under consideration for Ministry. But he denied the offer humbly and asked to extend his responsibility as TUDA Chairman for two more years.
Had he accepted, all that he could do as a new Minister would be for only one year as the last year before the election will be consumed towards working to strengthen the party in the constituency level with regard to the general elections.
So he preferred to accomplish some pending tasks as TUDA Chairman instead of taking up a new responsibility as Minister.
Finally the government extended the tenure of Chevireddy Bhaskara Reddy as TUDA Chairman for two more years and he thanked the Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for the same.
