Chandrababu Naidu To Change Kesineni Chinni?

Chandrababu Naidu To Change Kesineni Chinni?

Initially, when Kesineni Nani parted ways with the TDP party, some leaders, like Buddha Venkanna, spoke freely and expressed their accumulated intolerance and resentment towards Nani over the last five years.

However, as the days pass, Kesineni Nani's actions are causing some sleepless nights for the TDP. Kesineni Nani is undertaking a whirlwind tour of all the constituencies under the parliament to showcase his strength, with the aim of winning as an MP from Vijayawada in the next election. Those who claim that Vijayawada belongs to TDP are now silent and in shock, witnessing Nani's assertive drive.

On the other hand, there are reports that Chandrababu Naidu is reconsidering the candidacy of TDP MP Kesineni Chinni, suggesting that he should not contest for the Vijayawada MP ticket.

If his brother Chinni stands against Kesineni Nani, there is a risk of losing the Vijayawada MP ticket for TDP, and they are contemplating fielding Vijayawada East MLA Gadde Rammohana Rao for the seat. In 1999, Gadde Rammohana Rao contested as the Vijayawada MP on behalf of TDP and won against Parvataneni Upendra by a margin of almost 87,000 votes. Gadde Rammohana Rao enjoys a good reputation in Vijayawada and is known for avoiding controversial comments.

It appears that the TDP leadership is now considering the idea that, instead of Kesineni Chinni, Gadde Rammohana Rao could stand on behalf of the Telugu Desam Party and provide a strong contest. However, the main reason for Kesineni Chinni's active involvement in politics is to fulfill his long-time wish of contesting as the Vijayawada MP. Nevertheless, Kesineni Nani's moves have given Chandrababu Naidu an opportunity to reconsider his candidate.

It is evident that Chandrababu is contemplating utilizing the financial strength of Kesineni Chinni in Vijayawada East Constituency. The chances of Chinni contesting as a TDP MP from Vijayawada seem almost closed.

However, he is pressuring Chandrababu through Nara Lokesh, asserting that he will not hesitate to secure the Vijayawada MP ticket for himself at any cost, fighting against his brother. If the Vijayawada MP ticket is linked to TDP's Kesineni Chinni's aspirations and Nani's YCP strength, it is certain that both parties will spend hundreds of crores of rupees in the sibling rivalry.
