Challa Madhu Made Skill Development Chief

In the latest exercise of appointing chairpersons for 137 corporations, the state government had also appointed a couple of advisors. 

One of them is Challa Madhusudhan Reddy, who was named as advisor to the state government on skill development. 

In fact, Challa was the chairman of the AP State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC) in the last two years. 

It was during his regime as chairman of the APSSDC, the state government had proposed establishing 25 skill development colleges and one university in the state. 

These colleges are getting ready and would train the youth to suit the industry needs. 

The state government had also readied the curriculum for these skill colleges and university in due consultation with the industry majors. 

Now, with a new role, Challa Madhusudhan Reddy, a B Tech mechanical engineering graduate, is anticipated to shoulder the responsibility of launching the colleges and university, which would go down in the history of Andhra Pradesh. 

Madhusudhan Reddy settled in US after his graduation and had returned to the state only in 2010 and joined Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy in working to complete the unfinished task of late Y S Rajasekhar Reddy.

Soon, Madhusudhan Reddy took over the responsibilities of the YSR Congress IT wing and steered it for the success of the party in the two elections.

As chairman of the APSSDC, Madhusudhan Reddy was instrumental in having tie-up with IBM, Tech Mahindra, Del Technologies, HCL, Biocon, Schneider Electric, Indian Tourism Development Corporation, LV Prasad Film and TV Academy, JBM Group, and many more to list. 

Thanking chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy for appointing him as advisor, Madhusudhan Reddy asserted that the government would soon start construction of skill development colleges and university.

He expressed confidence that the state would soon start imparting skill training for the unemployed youth and make them industry-relevant.
