Caste Pressure On Chandrababu Naidu!

Caste Pressure On Chandrababu Naidu!

Kasani Gnaneshwar, the TDP president in Telangana, initially expressed confidence in TDP's contesting the state's upcoming elections.

However, recent shifts in his stance have triggered discussions about TDP's potential withdrawal from the race, supposedly due to pressure from the influential Kamma social group and Chandrababu Naidu's concerns about vote division.

The Kamma community's discontent with the BJP and BRS leading them to show support for Congress Party.

Kamma leaders have reportedly emphasized to Chandrababu that abstaining from the contest might bolster the Congress's position, potentially paving the way for their favored candidate, Revanth Reddy, to assume the Chief Minister's role.

As per sources, this lobbying has seemingly impacted Chandrababu's decision-making, leaving Kasani hesitant to assert his earlier commitment to contest.

It remains to be seen whether Chandrababu will succumb to the influence exerted by his caste within the party.

Telangana TDP cadre now seems to be completely aligned with the Congress Party due to Revanth Reddy and his affinity with Chandrababu Naidu.
