In yet another salvo fired against Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams chairman B R Naidu, his predecessor and senior YSR Congress party leader Bhumana Karunakar Reddy on Monday disclosed a letter which was written allegedly by the woman seen in the pictures and videos along with the TTD chairman.
In the letter, the 48-year-old woman identified herself as a Brahmin woman from Tenali with long acquaintance and in relationship with BR Naidu who has cheated and insulted her on many counts.
The letter was addressed to Chandrababu Naidu with copy to Lokesh and Pawan Kalyan and urged not to entertain BR Naidu to any high positions as he is a known debaucher and womanizer and the sanctity of TTD would be deteriorated and the damage would be irreparable.
In the letter she also mentioned that leaders from the YSRCP had approached her in the past, urging her to speak publicly against B R Naidu.
She claimed she was allegedly offered financial incentives, including money, a car and a nominated post, to turn against him.
However, she stated that she refused the offer as she has been a long-time supporter of the TDP and did not want to damage the party’s interests or Chandrababu Naidu’s political standing.
“With Chandrababu Naidu ignoring the letter of the lady in distress his intention is very clear and the social media is going wild with videos and pictures and netizens have been commenting and are asking answers as to why he should continue in that sacred post,” Bhumana said.
He said that the TTD chairman, in his media address, had spoken in a defiant tone, but the letter has exposed his character.
He added that a woman, whose daughter was suffering from a serious illness, had written clearly about her relationship with him and how she was exploited.
The letter, he said, fully exposes the chairman’s character and shows that he is unfit to head the TTD.
“All the allegations levelled by BR Naidu against me and my family is out of frustration and it was he who has thrown out the sacred book of Bhagavad Gita bringing down the image of the holy institution,” he said.
