Attack on Former YSRCP MLA's House!

Attack on Former YSRCP MLA's House!

Unidentified miscreants attacked the residence of senior YSR Congress Party leader and former Kovur MLA Nallapureddy Prasanna Kumar Reddy on Monday night.

The incident took place at his home in Savithrinagar, Nellore, while no one was present at the time.

Reports suggest around 50 to 60 people were involved in the attack. Upon learning about the incident, Prasanna Kumar Reddy rushed to the spot.

YSRCP workers gathered in large numbers at the scene following the news. Former minister Anil Kumar Yadav and MLC Chandrasekhar Reddy also visited the house.

Party members raised slogans against current Kovur MLA Vemireddy Prashanth Reddy, who is known to be Prasanna Kumar’s political rival.

Tensions between Prasanna Kumar Reddy and Prashanth Reddy have been escalating in recent weeks, with both leaders engaged in a war of words.

While Prasanna mocked Prashanth as someone “who knows nothing about politics,” the latter hit back calling him “Collection Prasanna.”

Many believe these ongoing political clashes may have led to the attack.

Speaking to the media, MLC Chandrasekhar Reddy and Anil Kumar Yadav accused Prashanth Reddy of introducing a culture of political violence in Nellore.

They warned that YSRCP, too, is capable of retaliating if pushed. They alleged the attack was an attempt to kill Prasanna and demanded that a case of attempted murder be filed against Kovur MLA Prashanth Reddy.
