As political climate hots up, it's yatra time in AP

Within a couple of days of Telugu Desam Party president and former Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu announcing his plan for a state-wide tour for the next one year, Jana Sena Party president and power star Pawan Kalyan, too, has announced his state-wide bus yatra.

Jana Sena Party political affairs committee convenor Nadendla Manohar announced that Pawan Kalyan will begin his bus yatra from Tirupati on the day of Dasara festival, on October 5. The preparations have begun for the same.

The Jana Sena chief will make a whirlwind tour of the state in the next six months and touch every major constituency.

He will address public meetings in all the district headquarters of undivided districts of the state. The schedule is getting ready.

Even as Naidu announced his plan to conduct his yatra for 20 days a month, covering two districts every month and each constituency in three days, his son and TDP general secretary Nara Lokesh is also getting ready for a marathon padayatra starting October 2.

The YSR Congress party leader have already started Gadapa Gadapaku Prabhutvam programme, while the ministers of weaker sections have conducted Samajika Nyaya Bheri Yatra to explain the welfare schemes of the Jagan government to the people.

The Bharatiya Janata Party has not yet come out with an action plan on conducting similar yatras in the state by its leaders; but the party is definitely planning a series of public meetings in the coming months.
