Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrbabu Naidu challenged YCR Congress party MLAs for a discussion on development and welfare schemes being implemented by the coalition government in the state.
“The YSRCP leaders launched a campaign – “Siddham” (Ready) before the elections. Now, I am asking them. Are you “Siddham” (ready) for coming to the assembly and take part in the debate? We are “Siddham,” Naidu said.
He asked the opposition party MLAs to take part in the assembly proceedings and raise the issues, instead of YCP resorting to false campaign.
“They cannot deceive people through false campaign and if the 11 elected MLAs attend assembly session, I am ready to discuss on the development and welfare programmes,” he said.
He said that he is also ready for discussion on government's super six schemes, irrigation projects and investments and at the same time on murder politics of YSRC including YS Vivekananda Reddy murder, door delivery of bodies and on the dramas of YSRCP for political mileage.
He made it clear that the government is ready to punish those who resort to abuse women using social media platform.
He said that the previous YCP government misused the pension scheme by distributing pensions to their party cadre by producing fake certificates.
He said the state government sanctioned 7,872 widow pensions recently and distributing pensions to 8,10,182 physically challenged people.
