Are Pawan Kalyan's Recommendations Not Valid?

Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan surprised many by announcing two names for key posts.

He suggested his brother Nagababu for Ministry via MLC and film producer AM Rathnam for the FDC Chairman post.

Since the Cinematography Ministry lies with Jana Sena, recommending names seemed natural. Yet, no official orders have been issued so far.

After Rathnam’s name came up, murmurs began in the film industry.

Many pointed out that he resides in Telangana and his vote is registered there, raising questions about how he could be appointed to such a post in Andhra Pradesh. It seems these concerns reached the TDP leadership, leaving the issue unresolved.

Reports now suggest new names are under consideration. Senior Tollywood figures with long standing ties to TDP, such as Murali Mohan, Raghavendra Rao and Ashwini Dutt, are being mentioned.

Others are also hopeful, including a couple of names said to be favored by Nandamuri Balakrishna.

Caught in these complications, the likelihood of Chandrababu Naidu keeping the FDC Chairman post vacant appears stronger.

A talk is spread within Jana Sena that Pawan Kalyan's recommendations hold no much value in the present Alliance Government.
