Anti-Naidu posts by JSP workers anger Pawan

Ever since the National Democratic Alliance government headed by Telugu Desam Party president and chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu was formed in Andhra Pradesh last month, Jana Sena Party workers are simply euphoric.

It is not only because their party has won 21 out of 21 assembly seats it has contested, but also because they are of the firm belief that it was due to the initiative taken by their boss Pawan Kalyan in bringing all the three parties together and making sacrifices.

The Jana Sena Party workers feel that Naidu would not have come the chief minister but for the positive atmosphere created by Pawan Kalyan.

So, they think Naidu should give a lot of importance to the Jana Sena Party president and should take the latter along at every meeting.

For the last few days, there have been negative comments against Naidu and his style of functioning, alleging that the latter was ignoring Pawan Kalyan while taking crucial decisions and holding meetings, though the latter was holding the post of deputy chief minister.

The way Naidu did not take Pawan along with him to New Delhi to meet Prime Minister and other Union ministers last week and also the meeting with Telangana chief minister A Revanth Reddy in Hyderabad on Saturday also did not go down well with the Jana Sena Party workers.

Their comments on social media platforms and statements in other forms of media have landed in Pawan Kalyan in an embarrassing situation, as he realised that they would create disturbances in the alliance.

That is why, the Jana Sena Party chief warned the party leaders and workers against making controversial and unwarranted comments against the alliance partners, the state government and officials.

He said stringent action would be taken against them, if they speak against the government and make baseless allegations against the officials to demoralise them.

He also warned the party leaders against participating in the government programmes without any position.

“Show-cause notices would be given to them first and if their replies are not satisfactory, they would be sacked from the party,” he said.

Stating that the NDA had come to power at a time when the state is facing severe financial crisis and the developmental programmes would come to a standstill, Pawan said it was the time Jana Sena Party workers stand by the NDA government in the state and help it to steer the state in the path of development, he said.
