Another Honeymoon Horror? AP Man's Death Mirrors Raghuvanshi Murder

In a disturbing case reminiscent of the Raja Raghuvanshi honeymoon murder, a man in Andhra Pradesh's Kurnool district has been found dead just a month after his wedding.

The deceased, 32-year-old Tejeswar, went missing on June 17, exactly a month after marrying Ishwarya on May 18. His body was later recovered from a canal.

Tejeswar, who worked as a private land surveyor and dance teacher, was reportedly in a troubled marriage.

His family has alleged that Ishwarya was having an extramarital affair and conspired with her mother, Sujatha, to kill him. Both women have been detained for questioning.

A senior police officer confirmed that an investigation is underway but declined to comment on the family's allegations.

According to Tejeswar’s relatives, Ishwarya was previously involved with a bank employee while simultaneously pursuing a relationship with Tejeswar.

Although their wedding was originally set for February, it was delayed after Ishwarya briefly went missing. She later returned and insisted on marrying Tejeswar despite the family’s concerns.

The incident follows nationwide outrage over the murder of Indore businessman Raja Raghuvanshi during his honeymoon in Meghalaya. In that case, his wife Sonam allegedly plotted his killing with her lover and was later arrested.

The Kurnool case has now sparked fresh conversations around trust and safety in relationships, as police continue their investigation.
