Chalasani Srinivas Chowdary has stated, "Since only few tests are performed to the population, only a few positive cases are confirmed Covid Positive".
Chalasani wishes to imply that it is not the administrative policy and strict lockdown measures by YS Jagan's government that is keeping the Covid positives in control.
Responding to this, a citizen said, "So, what Chalasani is actually wishing? It looks like he wants thousands get infected and die so that he can blame YS Jagan. This is the most shameless and sadistic pleasure ever seen in any politician. If he wants to play politics even in this scary time, he has to face the worst curse words from the people. Even CBN is keeping silent with respect to politics knowing the situation. It is better for guys like Chalasani to keep mouths shut for some time".
Explaining the ins and outs of Chalasani's statement, a doctor said, "2.7 Lakh volunteers have been going to door to door and finding out the people with Covid 19 symptoms. Tests are supposed to be done only for symptomatic suspects but not for everyone. If we find any Covid positive case, we perform tests for the family members also. If any politician is wishing to get the tests done for entire population, then he must be ignorant of the medical protocols or just playing politics in wrong time"
