There is a current trend towards large-scale productions featuring multiple stars. Bollywood has recently announced two such films, with director Rajamouli having previously made his debut in Telugu with RRR.
Actors such as Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Hrithik Roshan have all agreed to work in such projects, but Telugu heroes have been reluctant to do so.
While NTR and Charan have previously collaborated with Rajamouli, it is unlikely that another such combination will be seen in the future. No major Telugu hero seems willing to do a multi-starrer.
Most Telugu heroes are currently focused on large solo projects with pan-India appeal.
Many Tollywood heroes are doing Telugu films on a pan-India level. However, Prabhas has taken on big-budget Bollywood films like Adipurush and Salaar while still dubbing in Telugu.
Nevertheless, even Prabhas has declined to do multi-starrers in Bollywood, with some suggesting that this was a factor when he denied the 'War 2' film.
It appears that Prabhas is not particularly keen to share the screen space with Hrithik Roshan.
If he were to agree, Mythri Movies would produce the film, but for now, they must find another project for Prabhas.
