It has been common that every day, there is some news or the other in the media about release of forthcoming films or first looks or release of posters.
Some news make publicity well in advance and create a hungama, but some other news comes as a big surprise.
On Saturday, there was one such surprising news. It was the release of the first look of a film “Natyam.”
Interesting part of the news is that the first poster of this film was released by Upasana Kamineni, the daughter-in-law of Megastar family.
And the film is about a dancer and the role was played by Sandhya Raju.
She might not be a familiar name in the film circles, but one would definitely recognise her, if she is referred to as daughter-in-law of B Ramalinga Raju of Satyam Computers. She is the wife of Ramalinga Raju’s elder son Rama Raju.
What is more, she is also the daughter of a prominent industrialist owning several major cement factories.
She is a good Kuchipudi dancer and has been very active in the social media platforms like Twitter and Instagram.
Apparently, Sandhya Raju is not new to films. She made her debut in the Malayalam film titled “Careful,” which was a thriller in which Sandhya portrayed the role of a journalist named Rachna Nambiar.
It is about a road accident, and Rachna thinks of something suspicious, so she digs deeper to reveal the mystery behind the road accident.
She also worked in short films with famous directors like Tharun Bhascker, Revanth Korukonda, and Jay.
Now, she has now acted in this film Natyam, directed by Revanth. This film is about the story of a housewife who wants to follow her dreams and passion, and that is, dancing.
The film is made under the banner of Nishrinkala, which is the name of a dance academy, being run by her.
