The teaser of War 2 gave fans a thrilling glimpse of the showdown between Hrithik Roshan’s R&AW agent Kabir Dhaliwal and Jr NTR’s antagonist.
While the action impressed viewers, many eagerly awaited news of a dance face-off between the two stars.
Originally scheduled for March, the sequence was delayed due to Hrithik’s leg injury.
Now, sources confirm that director Ayan Mukerji is gearing up to film the grand dance number in the last week of June at Yash Raj Studio, Andheri. A massive set is being constructed for the shoot.
“The team had prepared for over two months, but Hrithik’s injury forced a postponement. With his recovery, both actors will begin rehearsals in early June,” a source said, adding that the shoot will span 10 days and mark the final schedule of the spy thriller.
With War 2 set to release on August 14 and Kiara Advani also in the cast, producer Aditya Chopra and Ayan are aiming to make the dance number a visual highlight.
Strict phone bans and a 60-member security team are in place to prevent leaks, the source added.
