Former MP Vundavalli Arun Kumar is known for his press meets more than his political activities in recent times.
He is known to be a staunch supporter of former CM, late.YSR and he is seen as a sympathizer of Jagan.
In a recently held a press meet, he took a complete U-turn and aimed guns at Jagan's rule. In his unique style, he diplomatically tried to say that he likes Jagan as the son of YSR but not as the CM of AP.
He criticized Jagan's rule pointing out some issues like cases on TDP leaders, liquor policy of AP government, etc.
There is a talk in the political circles that Jagan stopped YCP leaders from giving counter-arguments to Vundavalli and he asked them to just ignore his comments.
One would wonder why Vundavalli suddenly started criticizing Jaganmohan Reddy?
Unless there is a solid reason, no politician tries to criticize the CM of the state, at least the leaders who are deemed to be supporters by the common public.
An MLA who doesn't wish to mention his name shared the developments that lead to this situation.
"Vundavalli reportedly expected Rajya Sabha seat and he was waiting for Jagan's call for a long time. He has not received any such positive signals from Jagan. When he came to know that there is no chance for him to become Rajya Sabha MP with the support of YCP, he started talking against Jagan."
