Actors Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna have officially confirmed their marriage and announced a special name for their big day — “The Wedding of VIROSH.”
The couple revealed that “VIROSH” is a name lovingly given to them by fans years ago by combining their names. In a heartfelt note shared with fans, Vijay and Rashmika said that even before they made any plans, fans had already embraced them with love and given them an identity.
As a mark of gratitude, they decided to dedicate their wedding name to the fans who have supported them throughout.
The couple will tie the knot on February 26, 2026, in Udaipur. According to sources, the wedding will be a private and intimate affair, attended only by close family members and a small circle of guests.
Reports suggest that no film industry colleagues from Telugu or Hindi cinema have been invited to the main ceremony.
The wedding is expected to take place at a heritage palace property on the outskirts of Udaipur.
Venues under consideration reportedly include The Mementos by ITC Hotels, Raffles Udaipur, and Fairmont Udaipur Palace, with strong buzz that The Mementos by ITC Hotels may host the ceremony.
Apart from the wedding, Vijay and Rashmika are said to be planning two separate grand receptions — one in Hyderabad and another in Mumbai — for friends and well-wishers.
Pre-wedding celebrations will begin on February 24. As per sources, the sangeet and mehendi ceremonies are scheduled for February 24, followed by the haldi ceremony on February 25. The wedding will take place the next day, February 26.
By naming their wedding after the fan-given title “VIROSH,” the couple has turned their special day into a heartfelt tribute to the love and support they have received over the years.
