One of the finest performers in south, Sai Pallavi who has been doing atypical movies is awaiting the release of Virata Parvam starring Rana Daggubati.

The actress in her exclusive interview with us says she’s fortunate to have got so many good roles and good movies in her filmography.

After Shyam Singha Roy, this is again a period film. “I played mostly contemporary characters, except for Shyam Singha Roy. In order to play the character Vennela, I needed to own the character and think like her. I had this conflict that why this girl is like that. I realized the difference, only when I was playing the character.”

The actress says one has to switch off their brains think like the character. “The directors’ duty is to writer good stories and roles and my duty is to become that girl. It’s a two-side thing.”

Sai Pallavi says she and her family is very neutral and they don’t follow any ideology. “For me violence is wrong form of communication. Mine is a neutral family where they only taught to be a good human being. The oppress, however, should be protected. I don’t know who’s right and who’s wrong. If you are a good human being, you don’t feel one is right.”

The actress informs there is some conflict in the character Vennela she played in the movie. “Like Meera Bhai who leaves family and everything behind for Lord Krishna, Vennela too gets inspired by his poetry and ideology.”

Sai Pallavi says Venu is a very good writer. “Rana and the producers made sure Venu gets complete support from them.”

The actress who already watched the movie says she loved it. “I like this form of cinema. They show their locality and atmosphere purely and naturally. I have a feel that I need to do such films. We named it as an Indie and experimental film. Although the spirit was rooted, but the way Venu shot and the way he showed the characters, it’s larger than life and an international film. I feel happy to be part of it.”
