Initial reports about Vetrimaran directing a Telugu film with NTR in the lead were dismissed as rumors by many. However, Vetrimaran himself has now provided clarification.
He was in Hyderabad recently to promote his movie “Vidudala” and during a media interaction, he revealed that he had met not only NTR, but also Allu Arjun and Mahesh Babu.
Vetrimaran and Allu Arjun had met about a decade ago when the director was planning to cast him in "Vada Chennai."
"Allu Arjun came to Chennai to meet with me. I came down here to narrate the script. I also met Mahesh Babu around the same time," Vetrimaran told the media.
He further revealed that he had discussions with NTR last year.
When asked about directing a Telugu film in the near future, Vetrimaran expressed his interest but did not provide any details regarding the timeline or the cast.
