UBS 'Aura' Song Review: Sounds Like Election Song

UBS 'Aura' Song Review: Sounds Like Election Song

The fresh song “Aura” from Ustaad Bhagat Singh has been released. Let us see what it offers, how it sounds, and whether it lives up to the expectations surrounding the film.

“Nenu meda muttukunte thoda kottinatte..” is the line that has been kept as the hook for this song. Chandrabose wrote the lyrics while DSP scored the

In fact, DSP is known for leg-tapping and heart-thumping compositions like he did for Pushpa. Even Chandrabose’s lyrics usually carry a strong sense of attitude. This time, though there is an attempt, it didn't work much.

The hook line is okay to listen to, but the way it is visually presented, with all the technicians and the general crowd, kids rubbing their necks like Pawan Kalyan, dilutes the impact and apparently adds more troll value.

The line “juttu eguruthunte dhada dhada pidugulu padinatte..” does not carry much attitude. The only line that shows some poetic strength is “metthani mattilo molichina mokkavu kaadoy nuvvu, bandaraallanu baddalu kottina mondi mokkave nuvvu.”

To sum up, this song feels more like it was written as an election track for Pawan Kalyan than as a character-specific number for the film.

The rest of the song neither hits emotional depth nor gives any sense of wonder.

DSP and SP Abhishek have sung the song, and it is not clear why Harish Shankar appears as a singer in the video.

Mythri Movie Makers is producing this film. Pawan Kalyan, Sreeleela, Raashii Khanna, Parthiban and others play the lead roles.

On the whole, this Harish Shankar directorial Ustaad Bhagat Singh is hitting screens worldwide on March 26.
