1: Uppena: This Butchi Babu Sana's debut film, starring Vaishnav Tej and Kriti Shetty has touched the expectations with regard to the collections at the box office.
Thanks to the super hit song "Nee kallu neeli samudram" that shook the chartbusters for almost a year. The film has got enough of attention also due to the celeb marketing.
Despite mixed response regarding the content, by the first weekend, the film made Rs 25 Cr share and still running with packed houses.
The overseas market is also breathing a sigh of relief with this film breaking the hibernation of lockdown scenario.
2: Zombie Reddy: The maverick director Prashant Varma has come up with this film and introduced the concept of zombies on the Telugu screen.
Linked to the Coronavirus vaccine, the film was made in a blend of horror mixed with subtle humor. It is still managing to sit in the second position as there is no other new film available in the market.
3. 30 Rojullo Preminchadam Ela: This film could pull the traction only because of "Neeli Neeli akasam' song. Otherwise, it would have become difficult to make people know that some film of this sort is in existence.
Due to the song factor the film could see good openings but eventually it got dropped down because of the content factor.
4. Krack: This Ravi Teja- Shruthi Hasan's first big hit of 2021 has come up on to the OTT platform. But still, some screens are making collections from the admirers of this movie.
Some young patrons are watching this film on screen to enjoy the theatrical experience despite they can reach the film at a click away on the OTT platform.
5. FCUK: This is the least publicized movie of the season. Not many know about this release and the title is another let down to connect to the majority audience.
The film couldn't pull any openings and on the same day it was declared to be a dud. Almost all the screens are empty on the release day itself.
