Top 5: Kiran Is The Winner At Box Office

Top 5: Kiran Is The Winner At Box Office

1. SR Kalyana Mandapam: This film has become a surprise hit of this week. The film could pull the attention of the audience with a couple of songs before its release.

Kiran Abbavaram scored well as an actor and dialogue writer for this film. Much to the delight of many exhibitors this film made impressive collections in spite of not having a big star cast.

The result of this film also pumped in oxygen for the hopes of many producers and they are heading to release their films in theatres from next week.

2. Timmarusu: This film came with many expectations among serious film lovers.

The presence of Satyadev in lead role pulled the audience to theatres. It did an ok show but not up to the expectations.

Satyadev scored as an actor in the role of an advocate but the film failed to get into the list of best thrillers.

3. The Suicide Squad: This Hollywood film is another performer in the list. Only a set of audience in urban areas are aware of this film. But it didn't do well in other places.

Though this film released in June in UK, it made its Indian release only this week. It's worldwide performance is also not so impressive.

4. Ishq: This is a damp squib of this week. Brought into Telugu as a remake from Malayalam film with the same title, this couldn't do any business as it garnered bad talk with the first day first show itself.

The lengthy lethargic narration marred the experience of the audience and that resulted in making this film a total wash out. Sajja Tej is the lead while wink girl Priya Prakash Varrier is the female lead.

5. Merise Merise: This is the last film in the list that made its presence felt only with the posters but nothing else.

The film failed to pull the audience to theaters as the publicity couldn't make an impact on the audience. The collections of this film at the box office are dull.
