The atmosphere got heated up with the RRR waves. The advance bookings are creating a rampage in all the centers.
In spite of several early morning shows in almost all the towns and cities, the demand is still on a high. At this juncture, let us see the status of box office as on today.
1. Kashmir Files: This surprise film from Bollywood has landed as a thunderbolt at the box office. The collections have been increasing day by day.
Despite being a direct Hindi film with no dubbing in the regional languages, it is ruling the box offices at several centers just with English subtitles.
The history of Kashmir from 1990 pulled the attention of the national audience and this is the biggest hit of the season. Vivek Agnihotri directed the film.
2. Radhe Shyam: The collections have come down drastically followed by mixed talk for the film at the time of release. The second week run is ok in some parts but not upto the desired figures.
Majority audience seem to be awaiting its OTT release but not ready to hit the theatres anymore.
3. Bheemla Nayak: Pawan Kalyan- Rana Daggubati starrer film's full run is finished but still screening as a single show in multiplexes and in some B and C center single screens.
The film has completed a solid four week run with this. Audiences are hooked to the OTT release of the film.
4. Stand Up Rahul: This film with Raj Tharun in the main lead disappointed the audience. The openings were miserable and above that the talk is very bad owing to its outdated narrative style. The full run of the film seems to have ended with the first weekend itself.
5. ET: This film starring Suriya in the lead role and Priyanka Arul in the female lead attracted negative talk on the day of release.
The run of this film is almost done but still it is breathing with single shows in some screens and especially in the single screen theaters of C centers.
