Siddhu Jonnalagadda’s DJ Tillu was a sensational hit. The film’s sequel directed by Mallik Ram is arriving in cinemas tomorrow. Anupama Parameswaran played the female lead in the movie.
Director Mallik Ram says that although Siddhu’s character as Tillu is the same as that of the first part, the story has a large span in part 2. “Siddhu’s character has the shades of whacky comedy. I was really motivated after seeing DJ Tillu. There is more scope to do with this character. Tillu Square is made as a commercial entertainer with a lot of elements incorporated into it. You can expect the unexpected in the narrative.”
The director reveals the reason for releasing the new trailer. “Some felt the story was more or less similar to that of DJ Tillu. We wanted to clear the doubts. Thus, we released a new trailer that showed different aspects in the movie. Yet, there are many surprising elements in the movie.”
Mallik Ram who is planning a Pan India film with a noted star also lined up a series for Netflix.
