While Rashmika Mandanna, Srinidhi Shetty, Neha Shetty, and Rukmini Vasanth continue to dominate as leading ladies in South Indian cinema, another Kannada actress has surprised everyone by making a strong mark with a character role.
Rachita Ram, known for her work in Kannada films, played a pivotal part in Coolie.
Despite the film featuring big stars like Rajinikanth, Nagarjuna, Upendra, and Aamir Khan, it was the track involving Soubin and Rachita Ram that drew unexpected attention. Her performance has now become one of the talking points of the movie.
Following the success of Coolie, Telugu filmmakers have begun approaching Rachita for notable supporting roles.
Interestingly, she had earlier made her Telugu debut with Super Machi, opposite Kalyaan Dhev (Megastar Chiranjeevi’s former son-in-law). However, the film failed to click, leaving her unnoticed at the time.
Now, thanks to Coolie, Rachita Ram is firmly back in the spotlight.
