Natural Star Nani seems to be continuing his golden run, as the grand opening of HIT: The 3rd Case has proven.
The film has already recorded the highest premiere numbers in the USA and is witnessing a massive response in the Telugu states, with houseful boards displayed across theatres.
Dil Raju, speaking at the film’s success meet, remarked that the film industry is finally breathing again, thanks to the overwhelming response to HIT 3.
“In April, due to the lack of strong releases, several single-screen theatres in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana had to temporarily shut down. At such a critical time, our hopes were pinned on HIT 3.
We were literally holding our breath to see how audiences would respond. Three days before release, online bookings gave us a clear signal — people were returning to the theatres. Everywhere I go, I hear unanimous praise, especially for the film’s last half hour.”
Director Sailesh Kolanu credited the film’s success to teamwork, saying, “This is the result of collective hard work. I sincerely thank every single person who contributed to this film. And a big thank you to the audience for their incredible response.”
Nani, visibly emotional and grateful, called it a very special day. “I woke up this morning to a phone full of congratulatory messages. I’ve experienced many release days before, but the energy around this one is on another level. The bookings have been phenomenal — but more importantly, this is just the beginning of HIT 3’s journey. From today, every single day will feel like a celebration.
We’re simply overwhelmed by the love. The response has brought us immense joy — and this momentum isn’t slowing down anytime soon. Every time I’ve believed in our unity, the audience has proved me right. Thank you all, personally.”
Nani also revealed he would be heading to the US later tonight and would be away for four to five days.
“But once I return, let’s all come together and celebrate this success in a grand way.”
