Legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar passed away today morning, February 6, 2022. The legend breathed her last at 8:12 AM at Mumbai's Breach Candy Hospital.
A lot of South celebs like Mahesh Babu, Kajal Aggarwal, and others have paid their tribute to the queen of soul and music on social media.
"A voice that defined Indian music for generations. Her legacy is truly unparalleled," Mahesh Babu wrote.
"Heartfelt condolences to the family, loved ones and all her admirers. Rest in peace Lata ji. There will never be another," Mahesh added.
Megastar Chiranjeevi tweeted, "Nightingale of India, one of the greatest Legends #Lata Didi is no more.Heartbroken. The vacuum due to this colossal loss can never be filled. She lived an extraordinary life.Her Music lives on & will continue to cast a spell until Music is there! Rest in Peace #LataMangeshkar".
Kajal Aggarwal also paid tribute to Lata Mangeshkar and said her legacy will go on.
Meanwhile, R Madhavan tweeted, "A legend ascends to Heavens."
