The Raja Saab Surpasses Radhe Shyam in Shooting Days

Prabhas, who dedicated nearly four years to the two Baahubali films beginning in 2013, has since completed Saaho, Radhe Shyam, Salaar, Adipurush, and Kalki 2898 AD — managing five releases in seven years.

However, one project that has been unusually prolonged is The Raja Saab.

Although the actual number of shooting days has not been excessive, the film has stretched on for more than three years as Prabhas balanced multiple projects simultaneously.

Industry insiders reveal that the total shooting days for The Raja Saab have already surpassed those of Radhe Shyam.

Filming is currently underway in Hyderabad, with director Maruthi reportedly determined to wrap it up this time.

Touted as a horror drama, The Raja Saab features Malavika Mohanan and Nidhhi Agerwal in the lead roles opposite Prabhas.

Targeting a January 2026 release, the film has turned into one of the costliest ventures of the star’s career due to its prolonged delays and escalating production costs.
