Actor Sonu Sood has sold his apartment in Mahalaxmi, Mumbai, for Rs. 8.10 crore.
The flat, located in the supertall skyscraper Lokhandwala Minerva, has a carpet area of 1,247 sq. ft. and a built-up area of 1,497 sq. ft., along with two parking spaces.
The transaction was completed this month, with stamp duty of Rs. 48.60 lakh and registration charges of Rs.30,000.
Sood had purchased the property in 2012 for Rs. 5.16 crore. After 13 years, he earned a profit of Rs. 2.94 crore from the sale.
This is indeed a small margin for the investment as he also needs to pay 20% capital gain tax on the earned profit, unless he invests the complete profit on other real estate property.
On the work front, while no new projects have been officially announced, Sonu has confirmed he is preparing for his second directorial venture.
