Shruthi Hassan Gets No Support From Parents?

Shruti Hassan is in discussion today for her attitude. When she posed wearing black lipstick, the netizens called her with the titles like 'chudail' (witch). But the actress didn't take back but accepted that as a compliment.

In an interview to Pinkvilla, Shruti Hasan said, “I grew up by idolizing and I love the whole metal scene, I love the goth subculture. I love that whole aesthetic. I get comments like what happened to you, you look like ‘chudail’ and I say ok, yeah it's fine... that’s cool because witches are bad so I love that.”

That's really a strong way of responding to her detractors. Only a few hold such spirit in the Indian film industry.

She said that she wore the black lipstick as she wanted to do so.

“I didn't wear that black lipstick so that you can put that gold star on your report card of me. I did it because I wanted to do it.I would not hesitate ‘if the mood calls for it", she shared.

Shruti is busy with Prabhas' Salaar and a web series. She said that she wants to get back to work once the pandemic is over as she has 'financial constraints' for living an independent life without the support of father or mother.

That's quite an independent and role model talk indeed. Way to go Shruthi!
