Shows Cancelled For Bollywood's Big Film

Shows Cancelled For Bollywood's Big Film

Cancellation of shows is really a shocking thing when it happens for a big film that comes up with huge expectations.

Shamshera is the film starring Ranbir Kapoor that was supposed to turn the heads of many Indian audiences. But the response from the audience to this film is pretty miserable.

The shows were cancelled by the fourth day in many places as the theatres booked no tickets. Literally the film crashed and ended up as a disaster. The film has Vaani Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt in other lead roles.

The film started with a collection of Rs 10.24 Cr on Day one and the lifetime collection could be anywhere between Rs 50- Rs 60 Cr as per the trade experts. There was a heavy 70% drop in collections on Monday and made Rs 4 Cr nationwide.

Considering the costs involved in production and publicity, this collection can be considered negligible as it can hardly cover any loss.
