Chennai: Veteran actor Suman has once again expressed his interest in politics.
Speaking to the media today, he revealed that a few political parties in Tamil Nadu have approached him with offers to join them and contest in the upcoming Assembly elections. They have even promised him an MLA ticket, he said.
Suman shared that he was born and raised in Tamil Nadu and gained recognition as a hero in the state.
He believes that his connection to the state is the reason political parties are now offering him an MLA seat.
He also opened up about his thoughts on Andhra Pradesh politics. He said he would decide by 2029 whether or not to actively enter politics in the state, adding that the elections in AP have already concluded.
Over time, Suman has been seen appreciating different political leaders. He once praised Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy for his governance and later applauded Chandrababu Naidu as well.
This has led to some uncertainty about which side he truly leans toward. However, his growing interest in politics is clear.
Whether Suman will start his political journey in Andhra Pradesh or contest the upcoming Tamil Nadu Assembly elections remains to be seen.
