Second Wave Tsunami On Tollywood

Second Wave Tsunami On Tollywood

The situation is pretty bad. Almost all the new releases are postponing their releases owing to the lockdown fears, night curfew suspicions and the poor attendance of family audiences at the theatres.

About 2 months ago, the big and small films have announced their release dates by releasing some glimpses and teasers. But now they are leaving those dates for the above reasons.

First, this postponement episode has started with Sekhar Kammula's "Love Story". The film has been re-announcing the release dates again and again from the last two years. This is supposed to release this week, but got postponed again.

Chiranjeevi-Ram Charan starrer "Acharya" also got postponed again. This is supposed to release on May 13 but the date has been pushed further to June. Though there is no official announcement, it is going to come out shortly.

Now "Tuck Jagadish" also joined this list. Nani has released a video explaining the reason for the postponement. He also confirmed that the release date will be announced with the trailer sometime down the line.

"Seeti Maar", the Gopichand- Tamanna starrer also got postponed again. Same seems to be the case with Narappa and Khiladi.

It appears that there is no big film coming up to the theatres in near future after "Vakeel Saab".
