Former Indian tennis player Sania Mirza has reportedly divorced ex-Pakistan cricketer Shoaib Malik, according to Pakistan's Geo News. This development follows Shoaib Malik's announcement of his third marriage to actor Sana Javed.
The unconfirmed sources cited in the report suggest that Sania Mirza took this step due to alleged unhappiness with the former Pakistan cricket captain's interactions with other women.
The 37-year-old former tennis player is said to have taken this decision after reaching the limit of her patience on the matter.
Shoaib Malik had earlier announced his third marriage with Pakistani actor Sana Javed on Instagram. The actor's manager confirmed the marriage on X (formerly Twitter).
"Confirmation: Our beloved superstar @realshoaibmalik has tied the knot (Nikkah) with #SanaJaved. Wishing the new couple an amazing life ahead filled with happiness and joy! #ShoaibMalik," wrote Arsalan Shah, the manager, on X.
In a recent social media post, Sania Mirza reportedly shared a motivational message discussing the challenges of marriage and divorce.
