Prabhas’ epic action entertainer Salaar hit the screens yesterday and the response was gigantic from domestic and overseas markets.
Particularly, the movie beat the previous record of Prabhas and became the highest day one grosser in the Nizam area.
While Prabhas’ previous best was Adipurush which collected a share of 13.68 Cr on day one, Salaar beat the record with a huge margin.
The Prashanth Neel-directed movie earned a massive 22.55 Cr share on its opening day in the Nizam.
It is the second highest overall in the region. SS Rajamouli’s RRR tops the list with 23.35 Cr share.
Mythri Movie Makers were instrumental in the movie making such a huge business. They released it in a record number of theatres.
They obtained permissions for extra shows and also price hikes across all the centres in Nizam.
Overall, Salaar is off to a great start worldwide with the biggest numbers for Prabhas on day one.
Besides beating Prabhas’ previous best in full run, Salaar is going to smash many other box office records in the coming days.
