Sailesh Kolanu Addresses Runtime Criticism

While “HIT 3” continues to perform well at the box office with steady collections across all regions, the team is celebrating the film’s success with much enthusiasm.

The strong box office numbers have come as a significant relief to director Sailesh Kolanu, especially after the failure of his previous film “Saindhav,” which starred Venkatesh.

That film was widely criticized by both audiences and critics and resulted in heavy financial losses for its producers. Naturally, “HIT 3” needed to succeed.

While Sailesh is clearly relieved by the film’s positive opening, he also responded to criticisms regarding the movie’s runtime and violent content.

Defending his creative choices, he stated that the runtime is appropriate and that general audiences have not raised complaints.

He even revealed that an additional 12 minutes were added after the initial cut to enhance the film.

However, despite his assertions, many viewers have echoed concerns about the film feeling overly long.

Whether or not the added footage improved the overall experience remains debatable.
