The prestigious high budget Bollywood film is being made to re-tell the story of Ramayan on a grand canvass. The role of Sita is offered to Kareena Kapoor Khan at a price of Rs 12 Cr.
She needs to prepare for the role for at least 10 months as per the sources. Though the actress takes Rs 6 to Rs 8 Cr in general for a film, she is being given almost double as she needs to toil more with dedicated dates to the film.
Kareena is doing two more interesting films- Laal Singh Chaddha, the remake of Hollywood hit Forrest Gump and Veere Di Wedding 2. After this she will join the sets of Ramayan that is bankrolled by Madhu Mantena in the direction of Dangal fame Nitesh Tiwari. Mahesh Babu will be playing Lord Rama’s role while Hrithik Roshan plays Ravana.
