The 69th National Film Awards were announced on Thursday, on August 24, 2023. Needless to say, SS Rajamouli's 'RRR' won big in several major categories.
The film, featuring Ram Charan and NTR, had even bagged an Oscar award earlier this year for its song 'Naatu Naatu'.
Now the film directed by Pride of Indian cinema SS Rajamouli bagged 6 National Film Awards. Kaala Bhairava won Best Male Playback (Singer) for Komuram Bheemudo song.
RRR won Best Film For Wholesome Entertainment. King Solomon won Best action direction Award.
The global sensation Naatu Naatu created storm everywhere and for this Prem Rakshith Master won Best Choreography award. V Srinivas won National award for Best Special Effects. Legendary composer MM Keeravani won Best Music Direction Award.
SS Rajamouli was elated as 'RRR' bagged awards in six categories.
He wrote, "It’s a SIXERRR Congratulations to the entire team of RRR on winning national awards. Thanks to the jury for the recognition..:) Bhairi, Prem Master, Peddanna, Srinivas Mohan garu, Solomon Master (sic)."
And now the 'RRR' team is on cloud nine as the film got as many as 6 National Film Awards. SS Rajamouli and NTR reacted to the win.
