Don't get startled. It is known that the RRR overseas deal was done at Rs 67 Cr long ago.
The agreement was made with the buyer to settle the entire Rs 67 Cr in a single payment. The price was discounted as it was a single shot settlement.
But it was the old agreement which was signed at least 30 months before the fresh release date. So at the rate of Rs 1 Cr interest per month, the total amount can be rounded to Rs 97 Cr.
This figure can be assumed if the release date is in January 2022. In case, it gets postponed to March then two more crores of rupees have to be added.
But there is nobody in the industry who gives loans at the bank interest rates. So, an extra amount of Rs 5 Cr can be added.
Finally, to get this amount back, the total collection overseas should be more than 170 Cr. Will it be possible for RRR to achieve this feat? We have to wait and see.
