Due to a high number of COVID-19 cases in all states in India, the entire Indian film industry has now entered the state of undeclared lockdown.
Bollywood has halted movie shootings as well. Tollywood has been postponing movie releases.
Biggies like Allu Arjun’s “Pushpa” and Chiranjeevi’s “Acharya” have also been pushed to later dates. There is also talk that the Pan-India project “KGF 2” will announce a new date.
Obviously, the focus has also shifted on Rajamouli’s “RRR”. But sources say, Rajamouli doesn’t want to change the release date of his epic drama again.
The film will stick to the October 13 release plan. By then, the team is hopeful that the COVID-19 situation would subside by then.
NTR also needs to move on to Koratala Siva’s new film shoot. Ram Charan will become busy with director Shankar’s pan-India project.
Rajamouli has no option but to complete all production formalities and release the movie on October 13.
