Ram Pothineni, who was busy with promotions in the Telugu states, is presently in the USA along with actress Bhagyashri Borse, where they are taking part in theatre visits.

Meanwhile, the team held a success press meet in Hyderabad, which was attended by Upendra and other members of the team.

Producer Ravi stated that he has been receiving numerous appreciation calls ever since the release. “We were compelled to release the movie on Thursday to take advantage of Thanksgiving in the USA. We reached impressive numbers on Thursday, and with the positive word of mouth, collections will be strong from Friday. The movie is set for a long run. Ram will return to the city on Sunday and will once again participate in post-release promotions here.”

The producer also made an interesting statement about remunerations, revealing how several stars supported Mythri Movie Makers. “Ram, understanding the current tough business conditions, didn’t charge anything for the film. Instead, he took the Nizam and Guntur rights. Upendra also took a less remuneration.”

Director Mahesh Babu P said that Ram and Upendra created magic on screen. “When you travel with a good team, wonders happen. Andhra King is one such wonder. I’ve received calls from many fan associations of different stars appreciating the content. The film is actually a love letter I’m writing to the love of cinema.”

Upendra said he felt emotional when he first heard the story. “I felt a lot of pressure when I was told to play the role of the Andhra King. But since I feel like it’s my place, I’m okay with it. Director Mahesh Babu is the real star of the movie.”

The film, which opened to decent numbers on day one, is expected to see growth from day two.
