Rajamouli has completed writing the script for his next film, in which Mahesh Babu will play the lead role.
The initial concept for the story was provided by his father, Vijayendra Prasad, and Rajamouli, along with his team of writers, is currently working on the final screenplay.
According to our sources, Rajamouli is set to commence pre-production work in January 2024, with regular production starting after the Ugadi festival.
As a result, Mahesh Babu has limited time to prepare for Rajamouli's film. He must swiftly transition and begin work on Rajamouli's globe-trotting adventure thriller immediately after completing promotional work for "Guntur Kaaram."
Even though the film is primarily set in jungles and exotic locations, the majority of the shooting will take place in Hyderabad, utilizing blue screens. Additionally, portions of the film will be shot in South Africa and Europe.
A formal launch date for the project will be determined shortly. KL Narayana, a producer known for his work on films such as "Kshana Kshanam," is returning to film production after a 20-year hiatus.
