Putting an end to all speculation, The Raja Saab team has officially confirmed that the Prabhas-starrer will release worldwide on January 9, 2026, as initially announced.
The production house, People Media Factory, issued a clarification on Monday, stating that reports of a postponement from the Sankranti 2026 slot were “entirely baseless.”
Producer T.G. Vishwa Prasad emphasized that post-production work is progressing swiftly, maintaining “the highest technical standards without any delay.”
The statement reassured fans that every department is functioning in perfect sync to ensure the film delivers a grand cinematic spectacle worthy of Prabhas’ massive fan base.
“This larger-than-life cinematic celebration is being crafted with immense passion, designed to deliver a great theatrical experience to audiences across the globe,” the note read.
The producer also urged fans to “ignore all the rumours” and instead focus on the excitement and euphoria that the upcoming Sankranti release will bring.
Promotional campaigns for the film are expected to begin soon, with the makers promising “the biggest bangers in the business.”
The Raja Saab marks one of Prabhas’ most awaited projects post-Salaar and Kalki 2898 AD, and expectations are sky-high as the star prepares for yet another festive season showdown at the box office.
